Two members begin doctoral studies in Fall 2026

Starting this semester (Fall 2026), two OBUS Lab members have begun doctoral studies at Jeju National University:

  • Cynthia Imtiaz — admitted to the PhD program in Ocean System Engineering, continuing her work on focused ultrasound–mediated blood–brain barrier opening for brain drug delivery.
  • Sanghyeok Jang — admitted to the integrated MS–PhD program in Ocean System Engineering, working on therapeutic ultrasound.
